#1 - Yeah, Syd Barrett would have been involved in some pedestrian piece-of-sheeeeeit like this; strumming a guitar and playing the odd note on a keyboard.

#2 - If you're going to try and fake something use the vintage technology. This is obviously a digital recording with a cloth over the mic (or something). The faker should have used quarter inch, normal bias, tape on a vintage reel with vintage mic. At least use a normal bias cassette tape on your old Realistic player. Oh yeah, get a load of the drop out in the beginning of the recording too. They didn’t have that back in the Sixties.
