Astronomy Domine - Avalon 66

Here's a passable version of the Pink Floyd classic. Look what they have to say below as published on Youtube:

When we started rehersals of the album that never was I wanted to capture the same kind of childhood innocence that the late Syd Barrett did with his Piper at the gates of dawn. Jeff and I always love this one so we would rehearse to have fun . I think I wanted to include a version of it on the album. funny enough I am sure kevin never has heard any version of this song and does a good job here. This is from the same session as Glimpses this is take one first run through. again just two mics placed in a room so we would have something to reference later on So thanks Avalon 66 Avalon 66 performs the Pink Floyd classic "Astronomy Domine" live

thank you for posting this. It was maybe the 2nd or 3rd we have ever played the tune. I forget now. We hope to record that album and include a proper studio cover of this tune along with 3 other Barrett era covers.
